SPORTS FOR DEVELOPMENT

Sport can be a powerful space for young people to build their future. Through our work, we create environments where youth can develop discipline, teamwork, and confidence while staying away from harmful influences.

COMMUNITY SPORTS PROJECT

Launched in 2015, our Community Sports Programme engages every year up to 250 children and young people aged 10 to 20 through regular football for girls and boys, as well as mixed volleyball and rugby activities in Livingstone. Training sessions take place throughout the week, combined with participation in local leagues and community events under the name "KUBUKA 4Stars", providing a consistent and structured space for youth to engage in sport.

The programme is built around three core areas: sports practice, values in education and life skills, and community engagement. Through these, we support young people in developing discipline, responsibility, and teamwork, while strengthening their connection with the community and promoting positive pathways for their future.

FEEDING PROGRAM FOR PLAYERS

Launched in 2025, our Player Feeding Programme provides meals to participants on match days, mainly on Saturdays and during other competition days. The programme is delivered in collaboration with community cooks, ensuring that players have access to food during key moments of their participation in sport.

Today, we support around 300 young people through this initiative, including visiting teams who come to play at our field in Mwandi. Beyond nutrition, the programme strengthens the sense of community around sport and ensures that all players can take part in activities under equal conditions.
